First, can I say, prior to this book, I didn’t even know what a “Novella” was or that it is a thing for people who like stories — but have no time.
Time is an Issue
I am not a big reader these days for lack of time as a business owner and as a mom of 3 heathen. The novella length was perfect for me.
Which brings me to the next issue I expected to have with this particular book.
Self Published Titles Rarely Hold My Attention
I expect very little from many self published titles. This particular novella was well written, with good spelling, a solid plot line that was compelling and interesting to read.
Isn’t it amazing that I even have to say that about a book?
This book was sent to me (YEAR AGO) by the author for an honest review and these are my honest thoughts after reading the novella, The Torment of Rachel Ames by Jeff Gunhus.
Simple and unimportant, but I love the feel of the book.
